Condolence From: Arthur Haupt
Condolence: In 1963 I attended Wakefield High School in Arlington, Va. I knew a Phil Kagan pretty well in our school's English-art-music seminar. But I lost track of him in the 1960s. I talked to his parents around 1980, and they said he was in Spain doing photography.

A fellow classmate and I would sometimes speculate about where Phil was. That occasional impulse caused me, this morning, to search facebook and then the Web, where today I found this guest book.

The Phil Kagan I knew was artistic, sensitive, knew a lot, played the guitar, and was a fine friend. I wish I'd seen him again.

I have the feeling that the Phil I knew was also yours. If I'm mistaken, I'm very sorry for this intrusion. In any case, please accept my sympathy.

Sincerely, Art Haupt
Arlington, Va.

Condolence: Dear Tara,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I met your husband many years ago when I first moved to Taos, I believe he had a gallery off of Kit Carson Road in a little alley by The Mission Gallery. Through the years I would occasionally see Philip at Smith's and he was always kind enough to take a few minutes to stop and talk. Please know I'm praying that God will comfort you and meet your needs.

In His love, Diane Seguin
