Obituary for Juan Gonzales

Juan  Gonzales
Juan Manjo Gonzales 80, of Taos passed away on Sunday June 12, 2011 after a short illness at the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque. He was an Army Veteran and a long time bus driver in Taos and surrounding areas. He is preceded in death by his parents Crespin and Genevive Gonzales, brothers Albert, Fred and Arturo Gonzales, sisters Lena DeVargas, Viola Baca, Eliza Gonzales, and grandson Aaron Coca. Juan is survived by son, Johnny (Nadine) Gonzales, daughters Ruby (Tommy) Gonzales, and Shirley (Waldy) Mondragon, grandchildren Joaquin Gonzales, Felicia and Joshua Mondragon, sister, Frances Santistevan (Henry). He is also survived by long time friend and companion Rafelita Santistevan, and mother of his children Josie.

Prayer service will be Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 10 AM also at Rivera Chapel with internment to be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 pm with Military honors. Arrangements by TAOS.
