Lara  Morrow
Lara C. Morrow, born Feburay 7, 1932, entered a new phase July 13, 2011.

The daughter of Depression Era migrant farmers, Lara attended thirty-six public schools. Hungry for education, she graduated from the University of Oregon.

Lara was Regional Representative of the National Endowment for the Arts; Executive Director of the Great Lakes Arts Alliance; Consultant for the California Arts Council and the Montana Arts Council; Executive Director of New Mexico Arts. Upon her retirement, she served as President of the Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry, a Member of the Board of the New Mexico Women’s Federation and a member of the Social Justice Council at Temple Beth Shalom.

Lara leaves behind husband, Rabbi Ben Morrow of Santa Fe; children Kim Wagner (Ray), Susan Morrow, Jeff Morrow (deceased), Heidi Shayla (Ethan); five siblings Georgia Vest (Perry), Cherie Fletcher, Bill Cummins (Pat), Harry Morrow, Helene Morrow; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Visitors and guests will be received at Temple Beth Shalom Social Hall at 205 E. Barcelona St. on Saturday, July 16, from 6:30pm – 7:15pm. Havdalah Service 7:15pm – 7:45pm. Rememberences 7:45pm – 8:30pm. Sweets and drink table to follow. The Morrow family has entrusted their loved one to:
