Obituary for Betty Herrera

Betty  Herrera
Betty M. Herrera, 74, of Ranchos de Taos went to be with her beloved husband of 52 years, Cipriano on May 29, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cipriano Herrera, parents, Amarante and Jessie Cortez, brothers, Bernabe Martinez and Orlando Cortez, mother in law, Rosalia Herrera. She is survived by children, Susan Mares (Manuel), Kenny Herrera (Candida), Jessica Maestas, grandson she raised, Randy Herrera, grandchildren, Manuel Mares, Jr. (Desarae Jenkins), Angela Mares, Ashley Maestas, Chelsea Herrera, Jerome Anthony Maestas, Santiago Herrera, great grandchildren, Jose & Jesus Valenzuela, and Mariana Perea, brothers and sisters, Felix Gomez (Agatha), Viola Rivera, Leroy Cortez (Faby), Loretta Bailon (Jimmy), sisters in law, Olympia Miera (Frank) and Rose Herrera and numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Rosary was recited on June 2, 2011. Funeral mass was held on June 3, 2011. Both services were held at San Francisco de Asis Church. Interment was held at the Jesus Nazareno Cemetery. Arrangements by TAOS.
