Theresa E. Perea-Garcia, 68, of San Ysidro Sur, NM passed away on June 17, 2011. She was born on October 1, 1942 in Las Vegas, NM to Flora Benavidez and Patrocinio Perea and married Marcellino Garcia in Albuquerque, NM.

Theresa is preceded in death by her husband, Marcellino Garcia, parents, Patrocinio and Flora Perea and Tio, Orlando Perea whom he was raised by. She is survived by her dauther, Geneva Tena of Albuquerque, NM, daughter, Beatrice Salazar of Ilfeld, NM, son, James Garcia and wife Leah of Albuquerque, NM, Tia, Flor R. Perea of Ilfeld, NM whom he was raised by, brothers, Carlos Perea and Wife Rita of Alamogordo, NM, Ernesto Perea and wife Lupe of San Antonio, TX, Oliver Perea and wife Donna, Clarence Perea and wife Antonette, all of Ilfeld, NM, and Alex Perea of San Jose, NM, sisters, Georgia Baca and husband Charlie of San Jose, NM, Sylvia Perea-Gonzales of Ilfeld, NM, Merilynne Roybal and husband Lawrence of Pecos, NM and Yolanda Corby of Clovis, NM, 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.

A memorial service was held on June 20, 2011. A funeral service was held on June 21, 2011. Both services were held at El Valle de Cristo Church in Ribera, NM. The Perea-Garcia family has entrusted their loved one to:
