Elsa Mascarenas, 51, of Taos passed away August 7, 2011. She is preceded in death by her mother, Benita Gutierrez, grandparents, Carmen Orozco de Perez and Juan Perez. She is survived by her father, Cayetano Gutierrez, children, Dennis D, Mascarenas (Noberta), Daisy Mascarenas (Estevan), brothers and sisters, Gloria Gutierrez (Sam), Javier Gutierrez (Maria), Norma Miramontes (Francisco), Chayo Moreno (Francisco), Aide Flores (Ramon), Cayetano Gutierrez (Alma), sister-in-law, Velma Tafoya (Mark), godson, Les Adam Gutierrez and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 2 to 4 PM at Rivera Chapel. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church in Monte Vista, CO.
