Rafaelita Borrego, 86, of Vadito passed away August 18, 2011. She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Borrego, grandson, Marcus “Marky” Lujan, parents, Elizardo and Filomena Mascarenas, sisters, Teofilita Montoya, Tillie Apodaca and Lillian Mascarenas. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Eliseo Borrego, children; Christine Lujan and husband Orlando, Andrew Borrego and wife Vivian, grandchildren, Aundrea Valerio (Angel), Gail Borrego, Shannon and Stacey Borrego, 4 great grandchildren, Markos, Alexy, Adam and Emilie, sisters, Alice Romero, Fabiola Rendon, Ruth Ortega (Demetrio), brothers, Clarence (Naomi), Eli Mascarenas (Flora), sister-in-law, Aurora Gurule, brother-in-law, Paul Borrego and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 from 2 to 5 PM at Rivera Chapel. Evening Service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10 AM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Dixon. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery at 2:15 pm in Santa Fe.
